2014 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Keith McGill, DB , Utah

Keith McGill is a long athlete blessed with height and above-average speed for the position. Could transition to safety but has some experience at corner as well.

Good fluid hips and footwork. Straight line speed is very good. Played a lot of press man in college. JUCO All-American before arriving with Utah. Missed the entire 2012 season due to a shoulder injury that did not get rehabbed properly. Decent football instincts. Aggressive hand work and will scrap with his opponents. Above-average range and closes on the ball well. Just enough speed to recover on missteps.

Can shed blocks. Enough length to cover No. 1 receivers. Still has a lot to learn with technique and when to open up his hips. Big hands and long arms. Some off-the-field red flags (DUI in 2012).

McGill projects as a third round prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft.
