E.J. Bibbs, TE, Iowa State
Along with Jonnu Smith of FIU and Maxx Williams of Minnesota, Bibbs led all FBS tight ends in 2014 with eight touchdown receptions. That stat represents his biggest strength. He's a big body, and he's good at using it to get in position to catch passes, which makes him an attractive red zone option. But to be an option in the red zone for an NFL team, he first has to be good enough at other things to even make it on an NFL roster. That's a problem because scouts have serious questions about his abilities as a blocker, especially in pass protection. If he could improve as a blocker, his abilities as a short range target might get the chance to translate to the NFL. But there are serious questions about whether he can do enough to earn the chance to see some targets. Some team will likely draft him and give him a shot.
