Average Rank: 3.5 out of 5 (6 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - HOU: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
Texans are in a win now mode. Don't expect them to wait through the growing pains of a rookie QB. Clowney and Watt = MAYHEM!!
2 - CLE: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
TRADE***Cleveland will land their QB of the future after missing out on RG3. The defense is decent and Teddy will step in to a team with a high end receiving weapon in Josh Gordon. Things might actually be looking up for the Browns.
3 - JAX: Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin
BLAKE BORTLES - QB - UCF....Jacksonville is yet another team struggling with their franchise QB. Bortles looked great vs Baylor and will easily surpass Gabbert's awful career with the Jags.
4 - MIN: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State
TRADE***The Rams do it again and load up on more picks and trade down with the Vikings. The Vikings have Peterson and will bypass Johnny Football and opt for the better pocket presence in Derek Carr who can hopefully provide some kind of relief for Peterson through the air.
5 - OAK: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
The Raiders get the leftovers, but could end up landing the guy they wanted in the first place. Johnny Football will bring a new level of excitement to Oakland which has been lacking for years. Will he flop or flourish....only time will tell.
6 - ATL: Anthony Barr, LB, UCLA
Was tempted to go with Matthews here, but I think the Falcons need more help on the defensive side of the ball. With Julio Jones coming back healthy again, Matt Ryan and the offense should be back on track. Barr is a great LB and will step in day 1 and help this Falcons defense.
7 - TB: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
TB seemingly is going to roll with Mike Glennon at QB, at least for the next season. Why not give the most dynamic WR in this years draft. Watkins would be a nice complement to Vincent Jackson in the passing game.
8 - STL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
The Rams trade down twice and still manage to land the best O-Lineman in the draft. Protecting Sam Bradford will be huge for the Rams, and Matthews can do that, whether it be from the right or left side.
9 - BUF: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
Although I think the Bills could use a bit more help on offense, I just don't see there being a top receiver that justifies being picked at #9. A trade down for WR Mike Evans is possible but I think the Bills count their blessings and grab Mack to add to a defense that is becoming a solid unit.
10 - DET: Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
This was the first real tough call for me in this mock draft. Do the Lions grab an offensive weapon like Mike Evans to try and help Stafford and Calvin Johnson, or do they address the weakest part of their defense? Maybe this is the year Detroit does the right thing and adds a playmaker to aid in the secondary considering the front line of their defense is one of the best in the NFL.
11 - TEN: Stephon Tuitt, DL , Notre Dame
This might seem high for Tuitt, but I think he will be a solid DL/DE in the NFL. He is a solid player who is athletic for his size.
13 - STL: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
The Rams addressed the protection of Sam Bradford with their selection of Jake Matthews, and now they give him a big bodied WR to throw to.
15 - PIT: Damien Robinson, OL , Mississippi State
GREG ROBINSON - OT - AUBURN....The Steelers need help on the offensive line and Robinson is the guy to give them that help, plain and simple.
16 - BAL: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
This might not be an attractive pick, but Michael Oher was bad for the Ravens last year, and Lewan is a solid tackle who should help pave some road for Ray Rice to get this running game back on track and help keep pressure off Flacco.
17 - DAL: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
The Cowboys finally smarten up and address one of their weaknesses of their defense. Gilbert might be the best CB in the draft and should help the Cowboys defense right away.
18 - NYJ: Marqise Lee, WR , USC
This might be a stretch for the Jets, however they are in dire need of some help offensively, and although he is coming off a down year, Lee is a high caliber wideout who will certainly help the Jets from day 1.
19 - MIA: Cyrus Kouandjio, OL , Alabama
The Dolphins need to address the issues with their offensive line. If Tannehill is to be the QB of the future for this team, he needs to stay upright. This team isn't far off from the playoffs.
20 - ARI: Jameel Erving, DB , UTEP
CAMERON ERVING - OT - FSU....The Cardinals have a solid defense and could use some help up front protecting the QB. It might not be a flashy pick, but it addresses a need for this team.
21 - GB: Vic Beasley, DE, Clemson
Most mocks have Green Bay adding one of the talented TEs in this draft. While adding a TE to replace Finley would be a nice luxury, the Packers are already a scary team on offense. Defense is where the problems lie in Green Bay and although grabbing a Safety would also be a wise choice, Beasley is a beast and would help the Packers get more pressure on opposing QBs which should help their secondary.
22 - PHI: Ryan Shazier, LB , Ohio State
Shazier is a high energy guy. He has a nose for the ball and would fit well into the Eagles defense.
23 - KC: Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
While TE might not be a huge need for the Chiefs, they do need help in the passing game. I think there are solid WRs that can be had in round 2-4, but with a high level red zone threat like Ebron on the board, the Chiefs would be smart to give Alex Smith another option in the passing game.
24 - CIN: Darqueze Dennard, CB , Michigan State
The Bengals could use another CB, and Dennard is one of the better CBs in this draft.
25 - SD: Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor
The Chargers could look at CB here, but with a few plucked off the board already, I think they take the best Guard in the draft for some added help up front.
26 - STL: Kony Ealy, DL , Missouri
The Rams would receive this pick as part of their trade down out of the #2 spot with the Browns. Ealy would be able to come in and play behind Chris Long and Robert Quinn to make this pass rush that much scarier. I'm not a Rams fan, but what a draft this could be for this team.
28 - NE: Ra'Shede Hageman, DL , Minnesota
Hagerman has some work to do to step in right away, but he would be going to a solid Patriots team that could mold him and allow him added time before stepping in right away. Depending on the health of Gronk, don't be shocked to see the Patriots maybe grab Jace Amaro who is a talented TE. Or in true Pats fashion, they trade out of round 1 altogether.
29 - SF: Allen Robinson, WR , Penn State
Odds are I am way off on this pick, but I don't see much left defensively that suits the 49ers mold. An added WR to aid Kaepernick might be a wise choice. Robinson is a big body WR who would be another nice target for Kaep similar to Anquan Boldin should he retire.
30 - CAR: Shamari Benton, LB , Central Michigan
KELVIN BENJAMIN - WR - FSU.....The Panthers need to add some insurance for Cam Newton at the WR spot. Their defense is already stellar, but there is room for improvement on offense behind an aging Steve Smith. Benjamin would be a big body WR who does really well in shielding defenders and is a great red zone target as seen in the BCS Championship game.
31 - DEN: Jason Verrett, CB , TCU
The Broncos could use some help at CB. Verrett is solid but might be a bit undersized, which could put him a tad behind the other top rated CBs in this draft. Make no mistake about it though, Verrett is a solid player.
32 - SEA: Jace Amaro, TE , Texas Tech
The Seahawks get extremely lucky here. They are able to address a need with the final pick in round 1, and get an outstanding TE in Jace Amaro who should aid Russell Wilson in developing even more.

Excellent -- I love this scenario, but probably too many moving parts.

Below Average -- Cowboys already have overpaid CB's. DL,OLB and S needs 1st

Above Average -- As a Lions fan, I can tell you that at least I agree with HaHa Clinton-Dix. He'd be good under a good coach/coordinator here with our talent. Also, some of the names are updated now, and I don't like doing trades in mocks because there are so many unkowns

Average -- If Matthews is still there TB would be nuts to take a pass.

Average -- Agree with you Pack not picking a TE but I am betting they pick a big body like Hageman if available as Ted loves his lineman
