3/14 Booshay74's Mock Draft
2/1 Booshay74's Mock Draft
1 - HOU: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
It's simple, best player in the draft goes to the team with the No.1 pick.
2 - STL: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
St Louis without a doubt has the best 1st round out of anybody. If they are smart, they take Watkins her and hope an OT falls to them with their next pick.
3 - JAX: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
Jacksonville needs a QB, but let's not forget who the coach, the man who ran that vaunted Seahawks D a couple of years ago. Mack could play the perfect "Leo" position in Bradley's D.
4 - CLE: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
Cleveland desperately needs not just a QB but a saviour. This may actually be the most QB friendly team for him to go to with a solid O-line and Josh Gordon to throw the ball too. I think Manziel succeeds here in Cleveland.
5 - OAK: Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
Oakland cannot go into next season with Pryor or McGloin as their QB. Bortles is their man here.
6 - ATL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Matt Ryan got hit just too many times last season and SJax had no holes to run through either. Look for them to add some real talent to their O-line.
7 - TB: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
It doesn't look like TB will draft a QB and will probably stick with Glennon or a FA but what better way to assist that man by giving him another 6'5 WR to throw to?
8 - MIN: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
Minny sees the QB who I think is the best out of all of them fall to them here at #8. he doesn't have all of the sexy physical tools but I think he is a solid QB who is the most accurate thrower of the football.
9 - BUF: Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
E.J showed a little promise last season but he needs another option, Ebron is by far the best TE in this draft and may be the best since Graham and Gronk.
10 - DET: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Detroit always needs help in the secondary and their is no better CB than Justin Gilbert.
11 - TEN: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
The titans will be moving to a 3-4 defense under Whisenhunt and they will need another ILB. Looks for Mosley to be the Daryl Washington of this defense.
12 - NYG: Darqueze Dennard, CB , Michigan State
The giants love pass rushers and CB's. Since there are no really good edge rushers worthy of this spot, they take the best press corner in the draft in Dennard.
13 - STL: Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn
STL let's this play out beautifully and they land an absolute steal with Greg Robinson.
14 - CHI: Aaron Donald, DL , Pittsburgh
Being a Chicago fan, I love this pick. Donald to me, is the 2nd best defensive lineman in this draft after Clowney. The next Geno Atkins.
15 - PIT: Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
Pittsburgh needs to add some youth to their secondary and Haha is the best all-around safety in this draft.
16 - DAL: Tim Jernigan, DT, Florida State
The Dallas Cowboys need real help along the interior d-line. Jernigan anchored the FSU line to a national championship and I think he will definitely help the Cowboys solve some of their woes.
17 - BAL: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Baltimore's O-line was shocking last season and with the likely departure of Michael Oher, they will look to draft not only a top O-lineman, but also the most talented player left on the board.
18 - NYJ: Marqise Lee, WR , USC
Geno Smith needs help if he is going to be successful. Marqise Lee will give him a legitimate option out wide.
19 - MIA: Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame
It's simple, Miami's O-line sucks. Get the best O-lineman you can at this pick.
20 - ARI: Anthony Barr, LB, UCLA
Arizona takes the best player available and lands Anthony Barr who has tremendous upside and could be an impact player at OLB in their 3-4 defense.
21 - GB: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
B.J Raji won't be back but Louis Nix will do a fine job anchoring that 3-4 defense.
22 - PHI: Bradley Roby, CB , Ohio State
Philly needs defensive talent and Bradley Roby has all the physical tools you look for in a #1 corner.
23 - KC: Brandin Cooks, WR , Oregon State
KC needs to add some speed. Look no further than Brandin Cooks.
24 - CIN: Kony Ealy, DL , Missouri
With Michael Johnson leaving CIN, the Bengals could be on the lookout for his replacement. They add another long athletic DE in Kony Ealy.
25 - SD: Jason Verrett, CB , TCU
SD's pass defense was pitiful, look for them to look to upgrade at the CB spot.
26 - CLE: Carlos Hyde, RB , Ohio State
Cleveland also needs a RB and Carlos Hyde is the best available.
27 - NO: Dee Ford, DE , Auburn
Dee Ford will fit in Rob Ryan's aggressive, multiple looks defense. He will lineup everywhere.
28 - CAR: Cyrus Kouandjio, OL , Alabama
With Jordan Gross retiring, the Panther's will need to add talent to their O-line.
29 - NE: Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
The Patriots take the best player available and it is a steal for them instantly upgrading their safety position.
30 - SF: Odell Beckham, WR , LSU
SF needs some speed out their on offense and Odell Beckham can bring that to the 49ers.
31 - DEN: Ryan Shazier, LB , Ohio State
Denver's defense was pitiful and Woodard wasn't any good in the middle. Shazier has been making some noise and may get a shot here.
32 - SEA: Xavier Su'a-Filo, OL , UCLA
This is truly a complete team but their O-line could use some help.
