Average Rank: 3.1 out of 5 (12 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - HOU: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
The consensus pick here in almost everyone's Mock Draft is Jadeveon Clowney, but when push comes to shove he just isn't a good fit for Houston's 3-4 defense. Khalil Mack is the perfect pick for Houston here and although a player like Blake Bortles or Johnny Manziel might be the "sexier pick", Khalil Mack is the best option here for the Texans.
2 - ATL: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
Atlanta isn't afraid to move up for the player they want, and St. Louis isn't against moving down and collecting more picks. Although it will be hard for the Rams to pass up on Clowney, I have them trading the pick to Atlanta (for a 2nd rounder this year and a 1st rounder next). Atlanta is one of those teams who feels like 2013 was a fluke and they are one or 2 pieces from having an elite team, Jadeveon Clowney is a once in a decade type talent and if he plays at 100%, he could dominate the NFL.
3 - JAX: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
Cecil Shorts III, Justin Blackmon, and Sammy Watkins? This move makes Jacksonville scary no matter who their QB is. Sammy Watkins is in my mind the best prospect available and it's not because he looked good at his po day, but because on film he's just a beast. Expect Jacksonville to target a QB in round 2 but there's just no way they can pass on Watkins here.
4 - CLE: Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
Cleveland was really hoping for Watkins to fall to them here, but with him gone they'll have to address the other huge area of need and that's QB. Blake Bortles draws comparisons to Big Ben Roethlisberger and ironically that's the QB of Cleveland's biggest rival, Bortles has size, speed, and good accuracy making him the top QB prospect in the draft. Manziel willget a lot of consideration here, but he's too hit or miss and the Browns can't afford to miss on another franchise QB.
5 - OAK: Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn
Oakland is hoping for Watkins, Clowney, or Mack to some how fall into their lap at pick number 5, unfortunately for them that's not likely to happen, so with this pick they should build their team from the inside out. Greg Robinson may not be most NFL ready OT available, but he has the most potential and could end up being a perennial pro bowler for years to come.

Average -- Detroit would probably have to give up their first round pick in 2015 in order to move up into the #2 spot. Besides that, pretty good Mock Draft.

Excellent -- Got the Minnesota pick right. Getting picky on the rest - Van Noy seems to be trending down, not up.

-- my picks won't be set in stone until about a week out. I do think that Detroit will give up a lot for Watkins, they're really in love with him. Van Noy is a stretch but he's the next best 3-4 OLB after Shazier.

Excellent -- My thoughts exactly. Perhaps not Ebron at nine, he will slip.

Poor -- Laughable. Carr at 8. Not

Average -- Dallas pick of Manziel in the 1st round would be great and Jerry Jones makes his splash, belly flop
