4/17 Billsbloggen.se Mock Draft 1.0
1 - HOU: Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
Texans need a franchise QB and none is available in Free Agency. Bortles seems like the best fit.
2 - STL: Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn
Rams is propably trading down, but the biggest need is on the O-line and Robinson seems like a good match.
3 - JAX: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
With the resigning of Henne I am guessing that Jaguars are picking a QB prospect later in the draft, and use this pick to improve the pass rush.
4 - CLE: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
Bridgewater feels like a perfect match for a Browns passing offense that has pretty much everything else in place. With Bridgewater Browns might be heading for the playoffs.
5 - OAK: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
I have a feeling that Raiders will be picking up a QB via trade or Free Agency. Watkins will be a perfect target for whoever gets the QB job.
6 - ATL: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
Atlanta needs TE as well as OT, but in the first round I think they are adding to the defense. Khalil Mack as an outside linebacker will fit perfectly.
7 - TB: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Doug Martin has to get back in production like de did in the 2012 season. I believe an addition to the OL will make that a possibility.
8 - MIN: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
The resigning of Cassell will propably turn into a QB competition with Manziel added to the roster.
9 - BUF: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
EJ Manuel needs protection. I think that is the biggest concern heading into the draft for the Bills. A big WR target for Manuel will propably be adressed in the following round.
10 - DET: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Lions needs DB's, and will happily pick Gilbert with their 10th pick.
11 - TEN: Darqueze Dennard, CB , Michigan State
Titans has a lot of needs, but the biggest one is replacing Alterraun Verner.
12 - NYG: Aaron Donald, DL , Pittsburgh
Giants issues with their defensive front has been even worse during FA, with Tuck and Joseph leaving. I believe there will be more picks along the defensive line later in the draft.
13 - STL: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
Rams will be enjoying a draft with a lot of depth at the positions where they need players. In this early spot I guess the Rams will pick Evans that stands out with his exceptional size.
14 - CHI: Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
The Bears need help on defense. Their addition of Lamarr Houston in Free Agency propably goves them the opportunity to improve the back of their defense in the first round.
15 - PIT: Anthony Barr, LB, UCLA
The Steelers defense isn't getting any younger. The depth at CB in this draft makes me believe they are going for the excellent outside linebacker Barr with this pick.
16 - DAL: Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
With the biggest needs at DT and DE partly solved through Free Agency I am guessing the Cowboys would like to go for the best Safety available.
17 - BAL: Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame
The Ravens biggest need is a replacement for Oher on RT.
18 - NYJ: Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
Jets might trade down for a OG or CB a little bit later in the first round or early in the second round. If they pick here, I am guessing they will be happy to pick Ebron at TE.
19 - MIA: Xavier Su'a-Filo, OL , UCLA
Will the Dolphins draft players on the offensive line in the first 2 or 3 rounds? They propably have to.
20 - ARI: Tim Jernigan, DT, Florida State
With LT solved, I believe the Cardinals will use this pick to improve on the other side of the line of scrimmage.
21 - GB: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
With Peppers in the lineup the DL is next for an upgrade.
22 - PHI: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
Mosley is great value at this point and the Eagles need a starting Linebacker.
23 - KC: Marqise Lee, WR , USC
Chiefs has to get more targets for Smith. Lee is the best reciever available at this point.
24 - CIN: Kony Ealy, DL , Missouri
The Bengals will be happy to pickup the second best DE in the draft as a replacement for Michael Johnson.
25 - SD: Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
The Chargers are either going for CB or WR here. I am guessing CB to be able to handle division rivals Broncos passing offense.
26 - CLE: Odell Beckham, WR , LSU
Great spot for the Browns to add a target for their new QB.
27 - NO: Ryan Shazier, LB , Ohio State
Shazier will add some pass rush to the improved Saints defense.
28 - CAR: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
Carolina goes for receivers in this draft, for obvious reasons.
29 - NE: Dee Ford, DE , Auburn
The Patriots need to get younger and more explosive in their defensive line.
30 - SF: Stephon Tuitt, DL , Notre Dame
49ers are looking to add depth to their DL, and propbly add a speedy WR in the next round.
31 - DEN: Brandin Cooks, WR , Oregon State
A passing offense needs depth at WR.
32 - SEA: Jace Amaro, TE , Texas Tech
Amaro will fit in nicely with the Seahawks offense.
