2015 Outlook: Solid/Safe PickLast updated on Apr-07-2016 by Shawn Childs
Week 14 DFS Update (12/13): Last week Taylor only attempted 21 passes, but he finished with four TDs, 211 passing yards and 28 rushing yards. His last Int came in Week 4. He has four games with three TDs or more in 10 starts with no 300-yard passing games. The Eagles allow the 4th-most Fantasy points to QBs, with their last three opponents scoring more than 30 Fantasy points (931 passing yards and 14 combined TDs). On the year, QBs have 28 passing TDs. All signs point to upside.
Week 13 DFS Update (12/3): Taylor threw for a season high 291 yards with three TDs last week vs. the improving Chiefs' defense. His success was tied to Sammy Watkins winning multiple jump balls. His completion rate has been short in the last two games (55.6 and 55.3). On the year he has no 300-yard passing games, with three games with three TDs or more. Houston has allowed fewer than 20 Fantasy points in their last four games (812 combined yards and one passing TD) to move to 13th in the league in QB Fantasy defense. Running QB with some talent at WR, but this looks like a low scoring game.
UPDATE (10/8): Buffalo's QB controversy reached an unlikely conclusion when the Bills stood behind Tyrod Taylor. The former backup to Joe Flacco has emerged as a viable Fantasy option thanks to his ability to both pass and rush effectively. Taylor is at his best when he has a running game to support him. Now in his fifth season, the assumption should be Taylor is not a QB1. He can fill in as an adequate QB2. Only start him when you're confident in his matchup.
