Sanu showed excellent growth in 2014 while playing his best ball with A.J. Green on the sidelines. In Weeks 2, 6, 7, and 8, Mohamed had 21 catches for 424 yards and three TDs on 36 targets. His success led to Fantasy owners believing he would retain value when A.J. returned to the starting lineup due to facing weaker cover. Over his last eight games, Sanu was worthless to the Bengals and Fantasy owners as he only caught 17 passes for 162 yards and one TD on 32 targets. Cinci allowed him to throw three balls which were completed for 79 yards and a TD. His catch rate (57.1) was probably a big part of his failure over the long haul. Overall, he flashed upside while lacking consistency. After showing growth in 2013 and 2014, Mohamed only had 33 catches for 394 yards and no TDs on 49 targets last year. Sanu had five games in 2015 where he didn't receive a snap, and he only had ten catches for 75 yards on 17 targets over his last seven games played. His success in 2014 suggests that 60+ catches for 900+ yards with a handful of TDs are well with each reach as long as he secures the WR2 job on the Falcons.

Month Position Franchise/Comments
2016 FFToolbox Mock Draft #1
June 12th, 2016
14.03 Evan Silva - Clear-cut No. 2 option behind Julio in ATL passing game.
2016 FFToolbox Mock Draft #2
June 27th, 2016
11.10 Scout Fantasy - Armando Marsal - Not an elite talent by any means. However, should see plenty of targets as the Falcons WR2.
2016 FFToolbox Mock Draft #3
August 10th, 2016
12.06 Scout Fantasy - Armando Marsal - There's nothing special with Sanu besides the potential volume he could receive. I'll take a player who can see a good amount of targets in a late round with no problem.
