The loss of Luck at QB for the Colts led to the demise in offensive play. Fleener only gained 9.1 yards per catch, which was 6.1 yards fewer than 2014 (15.2). Over the last three years, Coby has 52, 51, and 54 catches which are well below expected value. He flashed overall upside in 2014 when he set career highs in yards (774), targets (92), and TDs (8). Probably the most exciting part of his success in 2012 was his 16 catches of 20 yards or more and two catches for 40 yards or longer. New Orleans completed 101 passes for 1021 yards and 11 TDs on 155 targets to the TE position. The path has been cleared for Fleener to be the 'man' at TE for the Saints in 2016 after signing a five-year contract in the offseason for $36 million. At the minimum, Coby should receive 70 percent of the TE opportunity for the Saints this year, which works out to about 70+ catches for 800+ yards and mid-tier TDs on 110+ targets. Fleener could make a further step forward with improvement in his catch rate (58.8).

7.03 Roto Experts - Joe Gallina - Drew Brees has a history of heavily targeting his tight ends. Look for Fleener to make 70 plus receptions and score upwards of 10 touchdowns this season.

8.02 Fantasy Insiders - Davis Mattek - I believe in Drew Brees and Sean Payton, not Coby Fleener. Ben Watson was a viable TE option last year, enough said.
