2016 Outlook: Bye Week Fill-in

Last updated on Jul-27-2016 by Shawn Childs

Kearse finished with similar production as Locket in 2015 (49/685/5 on 68 targets). Almost 50 percent of his production came in four games (8/76. 6/76, 7/74, and 7/110). Over his other 12 games, Jermaine had three catches in five games and five games with one catch or fewer. His skill set has improved in each year in the league, and he does offer some big play ability (13 catches for 20 yards or longer and one catch of 40+ yards). His overall upside is lower than Lockett pointing to a possible decline in chances in 2016. Kearse is a flash player in the daily space with more risk than reward in most weeks. In the season-long games, he has low floor leading to him being more of a gamble as a short term injury or bye week cover.
