FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE

Week 14 DFS Update (12/13): Hurns is expected to return to the starting lineup after missing last week's game. He has seven TDs and three 100-yard receiving games, but he is only averaging 7.4 targets per game. In Week 4, he has a season high 15 targets leading to 11 catches, 116 yards and a TD against the Colts. Indy has two weak CBs behind CB Vontae Davis. Possible plus game, but he really needs the Colts to play well offensively.

UPDATE (11/21): Hurns has been a very pleasant surprise this season. He had a seven game touchdown streak before having a miserable Week 11. On the season he has 44 receptions, 716 yards and seven touchdowns. The former Miami Hurricane was literally the last wideout drafted according to his ADP for most of the summer. He's been a WR1 to this point. He may have the highest value of any wideout this season when you consider where he was drafted and it's no fluke.

Hurns flashed upside in the preseason last year when he caught 14 passes for 232 yards with one touchdown. His success carried over to Week 1 as he scored twice and gained 110 yards on just four receptions. He ended 2014 with the most WR snaps on the team (805). He ended up with 51 catches, 677 yards and six TDs on 97 targets. His value was sporadic from week to week, but he showed big-play and scoring ability throughout. He saw at least 10 targets in two games and amassed at least 100 yards in two others. With the right matchup, Hurns can offer difference-making performances. In his two seasons on offense at the University of Miami, he caught 59 passes for 729 yards with eight TDs. Hurns is a speedy and intriguing talent who will unlock much more upside as he gains experience. He'll battle Lee for the No. 2 WR spot, but Hurns can't match his route-running ability. Allen should see his numbers tick up across the board this fall. He's a decent WR4 and a valuable bye-week replacement.
