At 36, Carson had his best season in the NFL. He set career highs in passing yards (4671) and passing TDs (35). His completion rate (63.7) came in just above his career average (62.7) while attempting 33.6 passes per game. His most impressive stat in 2015 was his yards per pass attempt (8.7 - NFL high). Over 38 games as a starter for Arizona, Palmer has a 29-9 record (83-76 in his career). Carson had eight games with over 300 yards passing and one game with over 400 yards. He had six games with three TDs or more. Palmer has three WRs with upside plus an impact pass catching back. His talent at TE is below the league average, but Carson will still make plays to the TE position. I like the progression of his offensive line, and a full ride of David Johnson at RB should lead to one of the best offenses in the league again in 2016. There's a lot to like here, and he has a chance to pass for 5000+ yards if his defense has more downside risk. I'd set his bar at 4500+ yards with a chance at 40 TDs. I do believe the running game will steal some of his upside at times in 2016.

9.12 Brandon Marianne - Last year Palmer averaged 291.9 passing yards per game, scored 35 touchdowns in the air and completed 63.6 percent of his passes. He has the best trio of wide receivers in the game. He?s one of my favorite quarterbacks going into the 2016 season.

10.11 Roto Experts - Jake Ciely - Injuries are always a concern with Palmer, but he was a Top 5 quarterback last year in 16 games, and he didn't lose any of his weapons.
2016 FFToolbox Mock Draft #3
August 10th, 2016
9.05 Cowboys HQ - Matthew Postins - I happily took Palmer as my backup here. Palmer's numbers last year were practically the same per game as Aaron Rodgers'. Easy choice.
