When you really look at Roethlisberger's stats in 2015, he didn't have a great season. I know he missed four games due to a right shoulder injury, but he threw 16 INTs with less success in TDs (21) than expected considering his high volume of passing yards (3938). If he played a full season, Ben was on paced for 5251 passing yards which would have been a career high. Roethlisberger had seven games with 300+ yards and one game with 400+ yards. He had five games with three TDs or more plus six games with one TD or fewer. His completion rate (68.0) was a career high while gaining 8.4 yards per pass attempt. In the offseason, Ben tried to get in better shape by losing 15 lbs. He has one of the best WRs in the game in Antonio Brown, but his receiving corps takes a hit with Martavis Bryant out for the season. The Steelers do have possible developing talent at WR, and they added a possible upside TE. When you add in the dynamic pass catching of Le'Veon Bell, you have the pieces to one of the best passing attacks in the league as long as Markus Wheaton has repeated growth and Sammie Coates become relevant. Ben has an excellent chance at 5000+ yards with 35+ TDs.

Month Position Franchise/Comments
2016 FFToolbox Mock Draft #1
June 12th, 2016
8.12 Benny Ricciardi - Everyone was waiting on QB which I get, but it was getting a tad ridiculous that people were drafting WR4s and RB2s with top 5 QB options on the board still. I got two of my top 5 guys at the QB position in rounds 7 and 8, meaning I am comfortable knowing I probably have a QB better than my opponent every week of the season right now except maybe one or two games.
2016 FFToolbox Mock Draft #2
June 27th, 2016
8.10 Roto Experts - Joe Gallina - There was a big run at quarterbacks after my Fleener pick, and I needed to react. I wanted Bortles, but he was gone, so I took one of the toughest QBs in football who plays alongside the best receiver in the game.
2016 FFToolbox Mock Draft #3
August 10th, 2016
8.10 Scout Fantasy - Dr. Roto - I was pretty happy to see Big Ben there in the 8th round. Even without Bryant the Steelers offense will be explosive.
