2015 Outlook: Solid/Safe PickLast updated on Dec-13-2015 by Shawn Childs
Week 14 DFS Update (12/13): Somehow Gore is the 12th-highest scoring RB in the NFL. He is gaining only 3.6 YPC, while averaging 18.7 touches per game with five TDs. He doesn't have one game with more than 100 yards rushing. In Week 4 Gore had 87 combined yards with five catches against Jacksonville. The Jaguars are 25th in the NFL in RB Fantasy defense, with two disaster games (54.40 and 53.30 Fantasy points). They allow 3.5 YPC with RBs scoring 12 TDs. Real boring player who needs the Colts to play from the lead.
Week 13 DFS Update (12/5): Gore was able to play last week despite being listed as questionable with a knee issue. He finished with 21 touches for only 37 yards. Over his last two games he has 117 combined yards on 40 touches. Gore has four TDs and no games with 100 yards rushing. The Steelers have the second best RB Fantasy defense in the league, with seven teams scoring fewer than 20 Fantasy points. RBs gain 3.8 YPC with three rushing TDs. Gore should be grilled in Week 13.
UPDATE (11/21): Gore has been a decent RB2 this season, which is what most expected of him. He has been the workhorse back in Indy, however, a miserable offensive line has hurt him a bit. He's yet to rush for 100 yards in any game this season and only has four touchdowns. With that said, Gore has been on a snap count all season. Now that the head coach and general manager both have their jobs on the line, they will no longer manage his touches and will run him as much as they need to win. It could increase his Fantasy value.
Gore will be an interesting player in the Colts offense in 2015. Many fantasy owners have had him dead and buried a couple of years ago, but he keeps producing 1,000-yard seasons. Frank has four straight 1,000-yard seasons and eight in his last nine years. Gore hasn't missed a game since 2010. Even with solid value in the run game, Frank has been phased out in the passing game over the last four years after catching 255 passes from 2006 to 2010. He'll start the year at age 32. Indy will get him more involved in the passing game. Gore had the eighth-most RB snaps in 2014 (fifth in 2013, fifth in 2012, and seventh in 2011). He will be drafted as RB2 or lower this year with sneaky upside. I think he will catch more than 30-plus balls with 250-plus carries, which gives a 1,300 yard opportunity with some value at the goal line.

|4.06||Team Hallam - Gore may be old, but as a RB3 in the 4th, he is awesome. The Colts system has worked super well for RBs not named Richardson (like Ahmad Bradshaw and Boom Herron) (Comments Added Mon Aug 3 10:08:13 p.m. ET 2015)|
