Scott Chandler, TE, N/A
2015 Outlook:Last updated on Dec-13-2015 by Shawn Childs
Week 14 DFS Update (12/13): Chandler's salary jumped by more than 50 percent from last week. He is listed as questionable for this week's game with a knee issue, but he is expected to play on Sunday. Last week with starter snaps, Chandler caught four of his seven targets for 61 yards and a TD. Over the last two games he has nine catches for 119 yards and two TDs on 18 targets. He has three TDs in his last four games. His catch rate (56.1) is a step or two below Gronk in his best seasons. The Texans do play well defending TEs (31/338/4), so I would temper my expectations this week.
Week 13 DFS Update (12/5): Chandler will be given a great opportunity this week with Gronkowski out with a knee issue. Last week Chandler had a season high 11 targets, leading to five catches, 58 yards and a TD. On the year he has three TDs, while gaining only 10.4 YPR. His catch rate (55.9) isn't great and he will now see top TE coverage as the starter. The Eagles rank 3rd in the league in TE Fantasy defense, with no team scoring over 17.2 Fantasy points. TEs only have two TDs vs. Philly. Solid value, but this isn't a great matchup.
