Browns tight end Jordan Cameron will not play in Week 9 due to a concussion sustained last week against Oakland. Due to the quick turnaround to play again on Thursday night, Cameron is in jeopardy of missing more than just one game. Cameron missed a game earlier in the season due to a shoulder injury, and it's very much worth noting that he has now suffered three concussions in two seasons. He's posted 13 catches for 250 yards and one touchdown on the year.
Tight ends Jim Dray and Gary Barnidge will try to pick up the slack for as long as Cameron needs to rest.Fantasy Analysis:
Cameron has not lived up to his lofty preseason expectations, largely due to his inability to stay healthy and on the field. He was considered a top-five fantasy tight end at the start of the season; he's been anything but. Cameron is still one of the most athletically gifted players at the position, so if you've got the roster space, he's worth hanging on to since there simply aren't a ton of superb options at tight end.
Dray nor Barnidge are viable replacements for Cameron in fantasy leagues.
