Brian Hartline, WR, N/A
2015 Outlook: Bye Week Fill-inLast updated on Dec-13-2015 by Shawn Childs
Week 14 DFS Update (12/13): Hartline is one of two WRs on the Browns that isn't listed as questionable for this week's game. Over the last two weeks he has 16 catches for 157 yards on 23 targets. Over his last four games played he has 40 targets with 26 catches, 266 yards and two TDs. His opportunity is much higher than his price point and it should continue for another week if Benjamin is unable to play. The 49ers' top CB Tramaine Brock is an above average player in coverage. Worth a consideration as Fantasy owners won't find many 10 target players at this price point. Without a TD, his production will still fall below a daily game play.
Following back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, Hartline was a forgotten man in the Miami Dolphins' passing attack last season, due in part to the development of Jarvis Landry. Brian finished the year with 39 catches for 474 yards and two touchdowns despite seeing the most snaps of any Dolphins receiver not named Mike Wallace. Hartline has scored just 12 times in 92 career games. This year, he'll slide into the No. 2 WR role for the Browns. His style of play may lead to him leading Cleveland in catches, and he has a chance of reaching 1,000 yards for the third time on four years. His success is all about opportunity. He won't be flashy or break a lot of big plays, but he should be a steady WR3 in 2015 at the very least.
