FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE

Week 14 DFS Update (12/13): Blount only has 203 yards on 57 carries (3.6 YPC) over the last four games. His lack of success and playing time was due to game plan and game score. His last TD came in Week 10. He has one 100-yard rushing game and seven TDs. Houston is 20th in the league in RB Fantasy defense with improved success in their last five games (19.0 Fantasy points per game). RBs have nine TDs while gaining 4.4 YPC against them. Tough to believe Blount will have enough upside to be a factor in the daily games, but he has a solid chance at a TD.

Week 13 DFS Update (12/5): Blount was a non-factor in Week 12 vs. the Broncos (nine rushes for 27 yards). Over the last three games he gained only 3.4 YPC. In his seven full games, Blount has averaged 20.4 touches with seven TDs. The Eagles allow 4.4 YPC, with backs only scoring only two rushing TDs. Hit or miss player with a tough matchup as far as TD production.

UPDATE (Nov. 11): The season-ending injury to Dion Lewis further fortifies Blount's position as the Patriots' lead back. He can be counted on for around 12 to 15 carries every week and a healthy amount of carries around the goal-line. Blount is a safe RB2 for the foreseeable future.

After recording only 65 carries, 266 yards and two touchdowns through 11 games with the Steelers, Blount walked out on the team in November. This led to him being scooped back up by the Patriots for whom he played in 2013. In five games with New England last year, he took 60 carries for a total of 281 yards and three TDs. He delivered the knockout blow to the Indianapolis Colts in the playoffs for the second straight year. He rushed for 148 yards on 30 carries with three scores in the AFC Championship game. In 2013, he totaled 24 rushes for 166 yards and four TDs against the Colts in the divisional round. Only once in his NFL career has LeGarrette had the opportunity to carry the ball more than 200 times (2010). He's averaged 4.6 yards per rush in his career and 4.9 in his 21 career games with the Patriots. However, trying to find fantasy gold at the RB position in New England each week will drive fantasy owners insane. Bill Belichick plays the matchups more than any other coach in the league, and each game's score heavily influences which backs he uses. Blount is the favorite to be the Patriots' power RB in 2015. Although he has been suspended for the season's first game due to a violation of the league's substance abuse policy, fantasy owners can expect about 15 touches per game from Blount. He has a chance to tally double-digit touchdowns for the first time in his career, but he'll be a very tough play from week to week. He will probably finish outside the top 24 running backs in fantasy once all is said and done this year.

6.07 RotoCurve - Rathburn - He's the one proven guy in this backfield. Cadet, White have not done anything as of yet. Should score a of lot TDs. (Comments Added Thu Aug 6 4:26:14 p.m. ET 2015)
